One extraordinary businesswoman showed a way of making good money, when Sheryl Sandberg joined the club of world billionaires.  Sheryl Sandberg owns about 12.3 million shares of social networking titan, Facebook Inc. that hit record highs in prices 21 days into the year. Sheryl fortune now surpassed $1billion in worth and value ranking alongside other world female billionaires such as Opera Winfrey, Alakija Folorunsho etc. Who is Sheryl Sandberg? cos-01-sheryl-sandberg-mdn Sheryl Kara Sandberg was born on 28th August, 1969 in Washington D.C., US to a Jewish family. She attended Harvard College with summa cum laude in A.B. in Economics (1987-1993) and Harvard Business School with highest distinction in M.B.A. (1993-95). Special Achievements She has served on the board of The Walt Disney Company, Women for Women International, the Centre for Global Development and V-Day. Sandberg was on board of Starbucks with an annual take-home pay of $280,000 and Brookings Institution and Ad Council. She co-authored the book, Lean In: Women, Work and the Will to Lead, published by Knopf in 2013. The book received nominations for Financial Times and Goldman Sachs Business Book of the Year Award. Her contribution in book has sparked a world-wide campaign to help women achieve their professional and personal goals by ‘leaning into their ambitions’ as well as equal opportunity for women as their men counterpart, here is an excerpt from the book ‘A truly equal world would be one where women ran half of our countries and companies and men ran half our homes’.
