If you are a lover of Shakespeare, the mere hearing of this collection named ‘The Tempest’, will definitely ring a really loud bell.
Well, as fate would have it, it turns out you would not be wrong as this collection was actually “inspired by the costume, soul and essence of Prospero’s daughter, Miranda, in the book, The Tempest”, in the words of Peaceful Owoghiri, creative designer of the brand.
The collection was originally showcased at the 2015 Heineken Lagos Fashion & Design Week held this year with the vintage appeal obvious in some of the aesthetic designs of the pieces and the models’ headpieces. Being vintage inspired, it is a combination of prints (both mismatched prints merged to perfection and matching sets of prints) and bold colours with beautiful embellishments. The story’s setting is glamorous with its focus on inspiration from art, dreams, beauty and romance. The collection incorporates all facets of goodness, elegance and perfectionism making the woman the dream of fine gentlemen.
