Sunday Adeniran Abeoye, better known as “ Temple ” is one of the latest Afrobeat sensations. Hailing from Ibadan, Nigeria, but currently studying in London.
The humble Nigerian native recognizes himself as a God-fearing
young fela and these influenced him to join the choir at the age of 14 and that led him to experience his first taste of singing.
His musical influences includes King Sunny Ade, Ebenezer Obey, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, 2face Idibia, Dbanj, Wizkid and Oritsa Femi. Temple hopes to be in a position one day where others can emulate his music too.
Temple has opened for the likes of Davido and his other HKN
members during the London leg of his first UK tour at the INDIGO O2 alongside popular afrobeat artists such as *Tillaman, Mo Eazy, Mista Silva, Lola Rae.
When the hardworking Temple isn’t in the studio, he’s studying for his degree in software engineering at a London University. He kicked off his journey into the musical industry in 2014 by releasing his first single and video titled “ The Way “, produced by O.Y Beats which video was shot in London. Temple is currently signed to his co-owned music Label “ GreenGees Records.
