With her style, and some-what porch attitude, this down town “NWA MAMA” translated- Mums daughter, AKA ‘Go getter’ IS MORE THAN WHAT MEETS THE EYE.
Chidire Mariazu popularly known as CHIYANA is a very simple person with no alter ego who stands for HER, HERSELF and HER STYLE but not forgetting her Fans. She hails from the stable of Imo State. She started singing from the age of 7 and later on joined her local church choir.
In 2005 Chiyana started up her music career professionally but at the same was the backup dancer for the popular singing group STYLE PLUS, amazing right?!... For the love and passion of music, she enrolled in Peter Kings College of Music Badagry, Lagos, where there was also the likes of Asa and popular producer Papii J.
In 2010 she move to Lagos and joined a group called ‘Scad’ but later broke out in 2011 to start her solo piece. Chiyana taking the bull by the horn after going through ups and downs has now dropped a smashing Hit single titled ‘TIKWESE’, produced by Tri-Tonez, mixed and master by G-Whynez, with the video directed by Chuks (Sound Anatomy Camera Works).
