Events: Dakolo set to headline Live and Unplugged concert

Nigeria’s king of soul; Timi Dakolo is billed to headline One Nite: Live and Unplugged at the Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island on Saturday March 29, 2014 by 9pm. One Nite: Live and plugged is a monthly music concert series produced by NMO management giving music lovers the opportunity to watch their favourite musical acts perform with a live band in a beautiful and serene ambiance. “I say there is nothing more beautiful than live music and an amazing ambiance. I love good music and I promise to deliver nothing less than that to my guests on Saturday.” The event which will be hosted by Omalicha of Rhythm FM; will have the artiste perform several hit songs off his debut album ‘Beautiful Noise’ like So Beautiful, Woman I Love as well as his recent hit; ‘Iyawo Mi’ amongst others. He hails from Bayelsa State, Nigeria and grew up in the city of Port-Harcourt, where he started his singing career at age of 12, singing in his church choir. Following his win as West African Idol first and only winner; he released his debut album titled “Beautiful Noise” in 2012, receiving great reviews for the work as well as chart successes.
